FAIRFIELD, CT – February 2, 2018- Dr. Susann Varano, a double Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine is coming to the Ludlowe Center for Health & Rehabilitation, to discuss several topics focused on dementia in the coming months. These are free seminars open to the public, however, RSVP is strongly suggested due to limited space.
On Wednesday, February 21st at 3:30 PM, Dr. Varano will hold the first of three discussions about the types of dementias. The next seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21st at 3:30 PM, the topic will be on depression vs. dementia. The final in the series is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11th at 3:30 PM, and the topic to be discussed is sleep disturbances.
Dr. Varano is a graduate of Chicago Medical School, she completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Yale University, and was named Chief Resident at Norwalk Hospital. She then completed her Geriatric Fellowship at Yale University. Dr.Varano’s passion shows through her 19 years of experience as Program Director and Assistant Professor for various Yale University and Yale New Haven Health System programs to benefit seniors. Also, she has served as Principal Investigator for 13 years of clinical research and hundreds of trails at Clinical Research Consulting in Milford, CT.
